DB Networks and Exabeam Announce Integration Partnership to Offer Full-Spectrum Behavioral Based Analysis of Security Threats -- Partnership enables customers to correlate database activities with complex attacks unfolding elsewhere on their networks

SAN DIEGO, CA, April 6, 2017 -- DB Networks®, a pioneer in Artificial Intelligence (AI) based database security, today announced an integration partnership with Exabeam, a provider of security intelligence and management solutions. The combined solution aims to dramatically reduce the response time of incident investigations that require deep visibility into the database infrastructure.

“We’ve been excited to witness Exabeam mature their UBA technologies into the SIEM category,” said Brett Helm, Chairman and CEO of DB Networks. “Exabeam is a new generation of SIEM that together with DB Networks’ database UBA and machine learning will enable customers to holistically address threats, including threats in the database infrastructure.”

DB Network non-intrusively and without agents collects database UBA through deep protocol analysis. Statistical analysis and machine learning are used to identify anomalies that were previously opaque to the security operations center (SOC). Together with Exabeam’s Security Intelligence Platform, Security Analysts now have full-spectrum visibility across their entire IT environment, including into the database infrastructure, and will be notified immediately when users and database applications are beginning misbehave.

“Today’s attacks are complex, often spanning multiple dimensions of an IT environment through lateral movement,” remarked Nir Polak, CEO of Exabeam networks. “Through the DB Networks and Exabeam partnership, joint customers are able to reap the benefits of market leading behavioral analytics able to identify these attacks no matter where they unfold.”
